Midland Ave Project Update | October 19: Water/Sewer investigation

The following is a copy of an email sent by the Midland Ave Streetscape & Infrastructure Project team on Thursday, October 13, 2022.

NOTICE to access property on Midland Avenue

Greetings owners & tenants of Midland Avenue!

The project team will be investigating water and sanitary sewer connections on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. In order to do so, the project team will be asking to enter key properties/businesses for only a few minutes to determine where the water and sanitary connections enter a building and to determine the sizes of those connections. There will be NO be demolition, removals or otherwise permanent alterations of any property in order to investigate. All utility services will continue to remain ON during this time. If you happen to know where these connections are in your building, you’ll help us greatly by pointing them out. The addresses listed below are the places that will be visited  on Wednesday, October 19, 2022:

The more the project team learns during this initial planning investigation process will mean fewer investigations during the construction phase of the project. This will save some construction time and help define construction costs earlier. If the project team is unable to access a key property during the Wednesday window, please reach out to the project team. Accommodations may able to be made for an onsite visit either earlier in the morning or later in the evening. If there is someone that is more knowledgeable about a key property, please forward this notification to them.
