Pink Fuzz is a Denver-based trio playing high-speed, heavy, “fuzzed-out” desert rock, led by siblings John Demitro (vocals/guitar) and LuLu Demitro (vocals/bass), with drummer Forrest Raup. Formed in 2017, they are known for a DIY, high-energy approach, producing their own visuals and touring relentlessly.
The band’s sound is heavily influenced by classic rock, such as The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and Black Sabbath, but with a modern, gritty edge. John’s guitar work is paired with LuLu’s driving basslines, creating a, as described, “ferocious” sonic landscape. They have garnered attention for their, according to 303 Magazine, “high-speed desert rock” that often features, as described, “menacing” and, as described, “haunting” melodies.
