Basalt’s own Hometown Headliner is back (BHS Class of 2025)! After trading in the mountain bike trails for a guitar just a few years ago (Post Independent article), Tristan Trincado found his true calling in songwriting that echoes the grit of a Nashville veteran. At just 19 years old, he has already headlined the Belly Up Aspen and shared the stage with industry legends at JAS Aspen Snowmass. With a voice that sounds like a 50-year-old, whiskey-drinking cowboy, Tristan brings a raw, authentic country soul to the stage. In a full circle moment, Rock and Roll Academy Aspen will be opening for Trincado, who himself is an alum of the program, and helped him get his start.
